Types of pitched roof include: the open gable roof, box gable roof, Dutch gable roof, hip roof, jerkinhead roof, gambrel roof, mansard roof, saltbox roof, pyramid hip roof or any other polygonal hip roof; but do not include the shed roof, or the butterfly roof.
